TRAVIS PALOMARES
Managing Director & Co-Founder
Previously Managing Director & Co-Founder of energy development company funded by Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation.  Former VP of Commercial Development at WesPac Midstream.  Previously, Mr. Palomares was the North American Sales and Marketing Manager for BP with responsibilities overseeing strategic account management, commercial airline sales, military sales, pricing, distillate trading, and business development.  In addition, Mr. Palomares held Joint Venture and Country Management roles for BP.  He also held engineering, supply, and refinery operations and planning roles at BP and ARCO.  Mr. Palomares is a graduate from UC Berkeley with a BS in Chemical Engineering.

DANIEL TO

Previously Managing Director & Co-Founder of energy development company funded by Macquarie Infrastructure Corporation.  Former SVP & CFO at WesPac Midstream, an energy development company funded by Oaktree Capital, SVP & CFO at WesPac Energy, a joint energy development company with SemGroup, and SVP & CFO at WesPac Pipelines, a joint energy development company with Buckeye Partners.  Prior to his involvement at WesPac, Mr. To was a Vice President at WestLB, Bank of America, KBC Bank and UBS specializing in project, acquisition, and corporate finance. Responsibilities included client relationship management and finance structuring ideas for energy clients.  Prior to his banking career, Mr. To worked at Texaco Refining & Marketing, involved in financial planning and operations of supply and distribution projects.  Mr. To holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and is also a graduate from UC Santa Barbara with a MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering.

ART DIEFENBACH
SVP Engineering & Development
Mr. Diefenbach joined the company after a 25 year career in various engineering, operations, management and executive positions in the petroleum industry.  Mr. Diefenbach began his career as a construction engineer for Fluor on the trans-Alaskan pipeline.  Subsequent to this, Mr. Diefenbach was involved in progressively more responsible positions in construction, operation and maintenance of pipelines, marine terminals and tank farms while working for ARCO in Long Beach, California.  As  Senior Vice President of the West Coast Business Unit at Pacific Energy Partners, he managed all aspects of assets in the western United States, including operations, engineering, business development, environmental, and information technology.  Additionally, Mr. Diefenbach has been involved in the acquisitions of numerous pipelines, marine terminals and tank farms thorough his career.  He was also instrumental in taking Pacific Energy from a private company to a managed limited partnership.  Mr. Diefenbach holds a BSME degree from Lehigh University, an MBA degree from Pepperdine University and is a registered professional engineer in California.

MAURICIO ACUNA

Mr. Acuna joined the team after a 30-year career in various engineering and project management, as well as technical services and operations management positions in the O&G industry, both in the US and internationally. Mr. Acuna started his career in Venezuela’s oil refinery system and then moved up to the USA in 2005, where he started in operations management positions both on the East and West Coast for asphalt and fuel refineries. After this, he was the Director Project Engineering for pipelines and tank farm projects domestically and in Central and South America for WesPac Pipelines LLC. Afterwards, Mr. Acuna held various positions as Division Manager, Engineering and Tech Services Manager with MMR Group in project engineering and construction in the US and Ecuador, before performing as Project Engineering Manager with ANDEAVOR/ Marathon Petroleum at its Martinez Refinery, California. Mr. Acuna is a graduate from Simon Bolivar University in Caracas with a BS in Chemical Engineering.

JUAN ANTONIO MARTINEZ
Advisor – Mexico Projects

Juan Antonio has a career in both the private and public sectors, he has held different positions such as CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Motores Group (Car dealerships), and CEO of Autolatina. He has also been an independent advisor for companies in Mexico, and representative of the Mexican Automotive Association during the NAFTA negotiations. In the public sector, he acted as head of the governor´s office in Mexico City, Secretary and Undersecretary of Economic Development of the State of Baja California, he also served as President of Mexican Disaster Prevention and Support Center (Mexican FEMA agency). During his time in the public sector in Baja, he actively promoted the attraction of $15.5 billion US dollars for the State, generating more than 350,000 jobs, contributing to the State’s annual growth of 7.2%, helping companies established operations in Mexico like Toyota, Samsung, Sharp, Mitsubishi, UTC, Skyworks, Intergen and Sempra Energy, Sempra Energy ECA liquefied natural gas (LNG) receipt and regasification terminal, Constellation brands, among others. He has a BA in Business Administration with the National University of San Diego, and postgraduate studies on Executive Management with the IPADE Business School. Currently Juan Antonio continues to strengthen ties between the public and private sectors to achieve operations and is a partner of BOND, a private corporate strategic advisor.
